The Talai town is about 45 KM away from Bilaspur on the way to Una District. The Talai is an very famous religious place. The Baba Balak Nath Ji Temple is situated in this town. The Talai town is surrounded on the north east Dhaulgiri Dhar touching Hamirpur District and in the south west by KotDhar, Bhakhra Dam.

  • The Talai Nagar Panchayat came into existence during the year 1984 on 23rd March 1984. The town is located on 31 degree 19 minutes North and 76 degree 5 minutes East. The altitude of Talai town is 1900 feet above mean sea level. It is well connected to important town cities like Ghumarwin, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Una. The SariyaliKhad and Dug Khad are flowing through this town.
  • There are some government institutions like Police station, PHC, Ayurvedic Hospital, GSSS Talai, GPS Talai, Electrical Sub Division, I&PH Section, PWD section, SBI, HP State Co-op. Bank, Co-op.
